Out trick or treating on Halloween night, siblings Charlie, Colin and Allison discover a creepy old house giving away candy. Before they know it, the brothers little sister, Allison is transformed into a talking hippo! Even though Allison is having the time of her life as a baby hippo, Charlie and Colin are determined to change her back before the night is over.

Along the way they have to deal with a strange barefooted girl. A snoring father, who asks too many questions and more candy than they can count. Plus they have to find brand new socks!
